1.0 Support and PartnerNet Guidelines

Novell provides these tests to increase the opportunities for compatibility testing of network configurations. Support for these tests is available as part of the PartnerNet Program.


2.0 What's New

To see what was changed in the software, sample code, and documentation for previous releases, see the Change Log.


3.0 Installation Instructions

To install the System Test Tools, do the following:

  1. Install the Adobe Acrobat Reader (required to view the test documentation). The reader can be downloaded from Adobe.

  2. Download the System Test Tools for NetWare and SUSE LINUX (systemTestkit-SCK-4.0-rc2.iso) from the NDK.

  3. Burn the file to a CD.

  4. Browse to and open the nstools.pdf in the root directory of the CD.

  5. Follow the installation instructions located in Section II, TestConsole for System Test Tools of the documentation on page 37. The instructions will walk you through installing SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server 9, then installing the TestConsole and the other components of the System Test Tools for NetWare and SUSE Linux in your test environment.
