Delphi Libraries for Novell Services allows a Delphi user to use Novell APIs in a Delphi program. The libraries are in the form of .dcu files. Each .dcu file corresponds to a .dll file that is installed with the Novell Client. The source files (.pas, .inc, and imp) are also included.
Fixed the links to the Login Libraries for C component of the Novell Developer Kit.
Download the installation file from the Delphi Libraries for Novell Services area of the NDK Web site. Run this file and follow the instructions. The installation program will copy the libraries, source files, and sample code to the directory you specify.
To use Novell Libraries for Delphi in your project, you must set the location of the libraries (*.pas and *.dcu files) in your project. For example, in Delphi version 3 through 6, click Project -> Options then select the Directories/Conditionals tab in the dialog box. In the Search path edit box, type the correct path to the libraries.
You can view or download the documentation at the Delphi Libraries for Novell Services Web site.
To read or print downloaded documentation, you need Adobe Acrobat Reader 4.0 or later, which is a free download.
The functions in these libraries are documented with the corresponding C functions. See the Pascal Syntax section of the documentation for each function in the following NDK components:
You can view or download the sample code at the Delphi Libraries for Novell Services Web site.
Delphi Libraries for Novell Services is unsupported by Novell Developer Support. See the Delphi Libraries Developer Support Forum.
